Description
The EL Beam Sensor measures displacement by attaching a sensor to an aluminum pipe with a gauge length of 0.5 m to 2.0 m and calculating displacement by multiplying the measured angle by the gauge length L.

▣ Applications
① Assessing the stability of adjacent structures affected by excavation or tunnel construction
② Monitoring settlement, stress concentration, and inclination changes in structures such as retaining walls, bridges, dams, and subways
③ Vertical EL Beam Sensors are used for measuring lateral displacement or inward deformation, while horizontal EL Beam Sensors are used for heave or settlement measurements
Composition & Characteristic
▣ Components
① EL Beam Sensor
② Cable
▣ Features
- The structural beam-type tilt sensor is semi-permanent, with an electric sensor built inside a waterproof and corrosion-resistant aluminum pipe, making it highly durable and minimally affected by temperature variations.
- Automatic temperature compensation is applied within the 10–25°C range to ensure accurate measurements.
- It also contains a specially designed module that prevents interference from vibrations caused during construction activities.
