Description
- The subsurface settlement meter is used to measure the settlement of each soil layer in the original ground that occurs under loads such as embankments. It is utilized to predict consolidation settlement and assess stability.
- Displacements such as settlement or heave can be accurately measured using a VW Type sensor, which outputs a frequency that varies according to ground displacement. The generated frequency signal is sent to an output device and converted into the required engineering units, allowing easy observation of displacement rate, ratio, magnitude, and displacement range.
