When deformation occurs, the rod pushes or pulls the sensor, which sends the movement to the potentiometer. The potentiometer converts the length change into an electrical signal, which is then transmitted to the output device.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This output signal can be easily converted into a length displacement value by applying a conversion coefficient. The difference between the initial (default) measurement value and the current measurement value represents the displacement.
